SAVELLI: 1842-2012, 170 years, 6 generations, 1 family!
Native citizens have distinguished themselves in different fields, from painting, music and literature to agriculture. Franciacorta, with its gentle hills and sweet climate, is also the trade area of “brüsafer”, the iron craftsmen. In fact, the Company SAVELLI originates from the handicraft activity carried out by Mr Egidio Savelli, a brüsafer craftsman, who set up a workshop in this area in 1842 for iron working. The activity was then continued by his son Antonio and by his grandson Severino.
The descendants Luigi, Severino and Giuseppe undertook new work in different fields, such as: steel prefabricated constructions, welded structures, industrial machines and foundry equipment.

Such production, which is considered the “core business” of the company, allowed SAVELLI, after its merger with the company Euroimpianti to enter completely into the foundry market, by planning and realising its own machines, foundry equipment and complete foundry plants. Research and development is an integral part. For the SAVELLI company 1999 was a year of considerable changes and new investments, which enabled them to face the new millennium with renewed energy and flexibility, thus establishing themselves in a market which is increasingly becoming worldwide. SAVELLI purchased a new site in Brescia. This new site provides SAVELLI with a good 35,000 m² operating area, of which 19,000 m² are covered and where a staff of 150 employees work with high-tec equipment.

The SAVELLI Group operates in Europe and the Mediterranean region as well as in South America. To meet the operations of the South American market, the company SAVELLI do Brasil (Belo Horizonte, Brazil) was founded in 1999. In 2001, the SAVELLI S.p.A. founded SAVELLI A.G., the Swiss company responsible for the foreign markets and for the cooperation with DISA Industrie AG (Schaffhausen); infact DISA represented Savelli world-wide from October 2001 to October 2006.
Well known companies which have installed SAVELLI’s equipment include John Deere (Worldwide American leader in production of tractors), Zanardi Fonderie S.p.A. (European leader in ADI ductile cast iron), Brembo S.p.A (Italy, brake systems), RENAULT Le Mans (France), WESO and Buderus Kanalguss (Germany), EKU (Turkey), Altajvagon Zavod (Russia, rail vagons), Castertech (Randon Group, Brazil), Wuling Power (China, automobiles), Hyundai (Korea, automobiles), Anvil (U.S.A.) and many others… The product range of mainly in-house produced equipment is extremely wide.

In addition, SAVELLI operates in the heating radiators field, with the production of automatic machining, assembly and testing groups and transfer lines.
